Halle is 6 months old!

Well....I can't believe it, but Halle is already 6 months old! She is sitting and just got her first tooth :) Halle and Maleah both got their first tooth on the exact same day at 6 months and 1 week...isn't that ironic???? Halle is the sweetest, happiest, smiliest fun baby in the world!! I am so glad she is mine :) I am so grateful for my beautiful family....my 2 girls are the funnest little things in the world! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Well....I finally joined the Utah hype and went out shooting. I have never shot a gun or been hunting in my life, so this was fun and interesting. I can honestly say if any of you ever become my enemy for some strange reason, you have NOTHING to worry about! I couldn't hit you with a bullet if you were standing right in front of me ;) ha ha good times though!

Today we spent the day playing at the park, and there was one really big tree that had dropped huge piles of leaves on the ground. We decided to have some fun playing around in them. Halle was cracking up hearing the leaves crunch when she moved around and kicked her legs. Love my little dolls!

I can't believe it has already been a month since my little Halle was born!!! Unbelievable, she is getting so big! Halle is still just as good as can be....we lucked out! :) Here is what she is looking like these days...they change so fast.

We are so thrilled to announce our baby girl was born!! Halle Cartwright was born June 8th @ 7:20am. She was 7 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long. I am extremely slow at getting pictures up, but

As you can see, Maleah is in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so that was our theme for her birthday party this year. I couldn't find a mickey clubhouse cake anywhere, so i decided to become a homemaker for a day and make it myself....it suprisingly turned out pretty well :) Maleah thought it was awesome! She got lots of fun gifts and had fun playing with all our family as always.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALEAH! I can't believe you are already 2!

California Love

Our family decided to get away over spring break for one last getaway together before another little munchkin joins our family. It was so nice to spend some time alone, just the 3 of us, and play play play!!! Thank goodness my little Maleah got my gene of LOVING roadtrips. It was a blast! The parade was probably Maleahs favorite part of the entire vacation....just was clapping and laughing the entire parade! She is OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and all the Mickey and friends characters. She thought it was so awesome to see them all up close dancing around singing. She waved to them for 30 minutes straight, yelling their names!

For Valentines, we spent a night up in Park City as a family, and it was a blast!! It even snowed the entire time we were there, it was gorgeous! There is nothing I love more than being out with my family, I love them SO much!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! xoxo

This is the 3 girls new favorite hobby when they are downstairs....jumping and doing tricks off of the couch on to the pillows and padding. Maybe not the SAFEST activity....but funny as heck watching them :) Unfortunately this photo session ended with Brynlee vomiting all over the couch...perhaps they jumped a few too many times!

For those of you who don't already know the news, we are having another baby girl! :) Yup, another girl! It will be a miracle if anyone in the Turner side ever has a boy....I even had like 5 ultrasounds to make sure, and YES it is definitely another girl! The little bun in the oven is due June 11th, and the time is flying by! We are super excited and super blessed to bring another little baby in to our home. (And we are crossing our fingers our jealous Maleah will survive the change....and even more the baby will survive a jealous sister... gulp!)

Well, I never posted any pictures from Christmas, so instead here are some pictures of Maleah with some of her gifts...and a few other random pics with her cousins!

Another obsession: Mickey and Minnie Mouse (mostly because it is her cousins favorite)

Maleah got this slide for Xmas, and the kids have a blast coming up with new ways to go down and up it!

I heard them calling me over and over and over to come look! Apparently they thought they were really funny "sleeping" on the stairs

And this is the day Maleah and Brynlee were obsessed with potty training themselves and kept undressing themselves taking turns on the little toilet

running laps around the kitchen and living room with their babies laughing their heads off... I'm pretty sure these two will be BEST FRIENDS FOREVER! bff!

I was lucky and won 2 tickets to a Jazz game from my work, which means a night out on the town just me and my hubby! YAY! We went out to the Macaroni Grill and then to the game. We weren't allowed to bring cameras in to the game...but we took pics of ourselves at dinner! Major dorks...but it was a blast!

Chuck E Cheese

Our niece, Brynlee, turned the big number 2 and so we spent the night out at Chuck E Cheese for her birthday party! Gotta love it! The kids had a blast, and there is nothing like a bunch of big fake animals on stage singing 80's songs on a friday night :)

We woke up this morning to several inches of new snow, and it still hasn't stopped coming down. Maleah took one look outside and wouldn't stop asking to go out. A minute later she was bringing me her hat and jacket....so i gave in :) I grabbed the cookie sheet and we took a few runs down the hill. Maleah was laughing her head off out there, she LOVES the snow!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! This was Maleahs first year trick-or-treating, and she enjoyed it a lot more than I thought she would. She had a hard time just putting the candy in her bag, she would always put whatever candy she grabbed from the bowl directly in to her mouth...she is our candy lover!!!! We went to grandma turners school in the afternoon to watch the costume parade, which is always a good time!

Tonight we went to "Barnyard Boo" at thanksgiving point. Maleah had a blast walking around looking at all the animals and and feeding them corn! We did a few halloween activities, and waited in a REALLY REALLY LOOOOONG line for a halloween spider balloon which Maleah wouldn't stop asking for. All in all, we had fun time!

Cabin Time Again!

We were able to spend the weekend away at my sister in laws cabin with all of our family, it was so relaxing and nice to be away from home once again! Maleah and her two cousins Brynlee and Brightyn swarmed grandma T and didn't give her a moments break....they are always fighting for her attention! They sang a lot of songs and read a lot of books....go grandma go!

Despite the constant rainfall, the girls were always asking to go outside and play
AND.....back on grandma again...

Maleahs first fishin trip--- Fish Lake

This weekend we were invited to go stay in a cabin at Fish Lake with some good friends of ours, and it was a blast! It was absolutely beautiful around the lake, all of the leaves had changed colors, and the weather was perfect. The weekend went by too quickly, but we were able to get some good fishin in, and played a lot of games! I LOVE WEEKEND GETAWAYS!

This is the cheeseball look Maleah and her cousin Brynlee gave me when I caught them in the act.......I spent part of my day yesterday folding up all of Maleahs old clothes and boxed them up....the babies found them and pulled them ALL out and decided to try them on, and then roll around in them....atleast they tried to put back as much as they could in one of the bins :) These two are hilarious! (gotta love their bedtime mullets to go along with the grins!)

We spent four days up at the campground this weekend and it was SOOOOOO nice to get away! We spent a night alone, and then had some family join us a couple of the other nights! PARTAE! Maleah was in 7th heaven being able to play outdoors for the entire weekend! Hopefully we can make it out camping atleast one more weekend before summer is over :(

Saturday Night we thought it might be fun to do something a little different than usual, so we headed over to Thanksgiving Point. We wandered around for a bit through the beautiful flower gardens, and then hit the farm! Maleah was getting a kick out of all the animals and loved petting MOST of them...the Llama and her, however, didn't hit if off! You can see in one of the pictures above how they are leaning away from each other! Good times! We even went on a THRILLING horse carriage ride around the farm.....

This summer Maleah and I have been spending our time at the pool whenever possible! Maleah loves to run in and out of the pool, and play in the water spouts. If only summer would never end!

The fourth is a big holiday in our family, as well as a very LOOOOOOOONG busy day. We always start the morning out with the Freedom Festival parade downtown Provo, thanks to the youngsters who stay overnight to hold all us old folks a spot on the street :) After the parade we head down to a gorgeous private park reserved for us and all our relatives and just BBQ and socialize for the afternoon... then we head down to my side of the family and eat yet again (nothin like 2 bbq's in the same day!) and play some games. Fireworks come last....so it's a miracle if we watch them peacefully without chasing a whiny, screaming toddler who just wants to go to bed! (maybe that's why I have no pictures of us and the fireworks...) Over all, it's always a blast and look forward to the next big 4th! And don't forget 3 cheers for Kristi not getting hauled down to the station in handcuffs this fourth of july....things are looking up ;)

Maleah was so excited to be outdoors camping!! Matt and I have always spent our entire summers camping, but we were worried having Maleah might change things. We were a little nervous taking her, but she was surprisingly very good! Good to know we can keep camping all summer long! yay :) We discovered Maleah LOVES toasted marshmallows, and she is very good pointing to the fire and saying HOT! over and over and over and over....

Maleah and her cousin spent the afternoon playing out in the octopus sprinkler and i attempted to lay out and get a tan......didn't really go over too well as you can see by the pasty whiteness to my skin!

Uh.....trust me i know i look white trash... :{

Honestly....the octopus is actually quite fun...I think I ran through that sprinkler more than the kids :)
